Robert and Jean Fraser Award for Future Leaders in Global Health

Awarded to a medical student, resident or fellow who has been accepted for training in a University of Alberta foreign exchange program in the Department of Medicine. Nominees must be from a country that is deemed to be underserved in terms of health-care professionals and must demonstrate a commitment to return and practice medicine in that country upon completion of their training at the University of Alberta. Selection based on evaluation from supervisors in their home countries and by the sponsoring Faculty member at the University of Alberta.
