Alberta Canola Producers Commission Award

Awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing (minimum grade point average 2.7) entering the second, third, or fourth year of the BSc. in Nutrition and Food Science (Food Science and Technology major) or the BSc. in Agricultural/Food Business Management (Food Business Management major). Recipient will be selected on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular and community activities, especially those that relate to the processing and distribution of food. Preference will be given to a student whose family income is derived primarily from some aspect of the canola industry. Students from other industries related to Food Business Management or Nutrition and Food Science are also eligible.
