Helen Solowoniuk Memorial Award in Psychiatry

Awarded to resident physicians with satisfactory academic standing in the final year of psychiatry training in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. Selection based on academic standing and expressed interest in body-centered psychotherapy, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Preference given to resident physicians with an interest in working with patients with a history of trauma or displacement.
