Louie Family Award in Medicine

Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing convocating with a Doctor of Medicine degree. Selection based on outstanding clinical skills in the chosen field of study, demonstrated excellence in communication with patients and their families, and academic standing in Family Medicine, Surgery, or Internal Medicine. Preference given to first generation University students whose parents immigrated to Canada or who were immigrants themselves.
