John A Weir Memorial Scholarships

Offered annually to a student entering the first year in the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta. In addition to a satisfactory academic record, the applicant should have exhibited strong evidence of leadership, and an involvement in community or religious activities or athletic endeavours or debating or fine arts. A written essay on the life and works of John A. Weir will be required with each application.
