Northern Studies and Research Award

Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in an undergraduate degree involving Northern studies and research or study leading to a Northern specialization. Northern is defined as any area of the world (Northern Hemisphere) being north of the southern limit of the boreal forest. Selection based on demonstrated commitment to pursuing Northern studies and/or research. This award is intended to provide financial support toward the cost of tuition, travel, or costs associated with research.
