Shoppers Drug Mart / Loblaws Rural and Suburban Placement Award

Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in the fourth year of an Entry to Practice Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Student must be assigned to a Shoppers Drug Mart or Loblaws placement in Alberta that is: a rural/suburban placement, or a Pharmacist-Led Clinic. Selection based on academic standing, demonstrated leadership, collegiality, and an interest in rural/suburban placements and/or Pharmacist-Led Clinics. Preference given to students matched to Pharmacist-Led Clinics and to students with demonstrated financial need.
