Orchesis Spring/Summer Study Award

Awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student with satisfactory academic standing who intends to pursue dance training during the spring/summer months and who has a demonstrated interest in performing, choreographing, and/or teaching modern and jazz dance. Recipient will be selected on the basis of participation in dance classes, involvement with Orchesis or in the production of Dance Motif through dancing, choreographing, working backstage, and/or promoting the event. This award is intended to provide financial support to enable the recipient to pursue dance training during the summer months.
