Halyna Chomiak Freeland Memorial Award

Awarded to student(s) with satisfactory academic standing entering any year of a Juris Doctor degree. Selection based on demonstrated leadership and/or community involvement. Preference given to student(s) with contributions (within the University and/or via extra-curricular involvement) to the Ukraine or in the diaspora, and/or the advancement of women’s rights. Special consideration given to applicant(s) who demonstrate they have overcome obstacles (financial or otherwise).
