Westmoreland Coal Company Dean's Entrance Citation in Engineering

Awarded to a student entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Engineering. Recipients will be selected on the basis of Admission average (~95% or above). Preference will be given to applicants who indicate they will pursue a career in the earth sciences disciplines in engineering (Civil or Mining Engineering). Payment of this award will commence in second year contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to April period in the qualifying year. Receipt of funding for the third and fourth years is contingent upon maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to April period in the Faculty of Engineering each year.
