University Hospital Foundation James Yi and Wei Chiwei Leadership Scholarship in Nursing - Renewable

Awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Nursing, University of Alberta site. Recipients will be selected on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular and community activities, and on Admission average. Preference is given to students with indicated financial need. Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum 3.0 GPA on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to April period in the Faculty of Nursing each year.
