Alberta Association of the Deaf Michael Rodda Award

Awarded to a student who is deaf with satisfactory academic standing in any year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta. Selection based on academic standing, indicated financial need, and demonstrated commitment to the deaf community by involvement in deaf community activities. Preference will be given to Alberta residents with a minimum 55 db hearing loss or who have sufficient deafness precluding their use of telephones or who are users of sign language interpretors or who require interpreters as a primary mode of classroom communication. Others may be considered.
