HB Collier Memorial Gold Medal

To be awarded annually to a student convocating from Medical Laboratory Science on the basis of superior academic achievement. Part-time students are eligible for this award.

Endowed funds by the family, friends and colleagues of the late Dr H Bruce Collier, and by Medical Laboratory Science Alumni and by the Faculty of Medicine Dr Bruce Collier, FRSC, was a past-president of the Faculty Association, a past-chairman of the Biochemistry Department, and the supervisor of the first PhD student registered at the University of Alberta
