John and Eileen Jorgens Scholarships

To be awarded annually to Alberta residents with superior academic achievement enrolled in a degree program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences. Recipients will be selected on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by community involvement and extracurricular activities and academic standing. Preference will be given to applicants from an Alberta farming or ranching family where the primary income of the family is derived from the farm/ranch and/or who are entering the third or fourth year of Agricultural Economics, Agricultural/Food Business Management, Nutrition and Food Sciences, Environmental Economics, Environmental and Conservation Sciences. Please note that this is only a preference and students from urban centres or also encouraged to apply.
